The Keyholding Company secures place on GCA framework

The Keyholding Company (TKC) has been named as a supplier on Government Commercial Agency’s GCA RM6378Facilities Management and Security Services framework.

The key holding and alarm response specialist has been awarded a place across Lots 4c (Physical and Electronic Security Systems and Services) and 4d (Security Advisory and Assessment Services).

Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation.

This appointment sits alongside TKC’s existing positions on ESPO 347_26, NHS SBS10502, Commercial Services Group Y24007 and Durham County Council DN707656. Together, they give public sector buyers a fully compliant, pre-qualified route to procure TKC’s comprehensive range of security services without the need for a full tender.

As a registered SME that is also B Corp certified, TKC says it can provide a route to market that aligns clearly with the social value objectives of the Procurement Act of 2023 and PPN 026: The Social Value Model.

TKC stated that its tech-enabled approach brings a “differentiated level of visibility and efficiency to public sector security”, adding it has a “high-quality internal expertise, deliver nationwide through a network of local security partners, and has a proven track record of delivering security services across large-scale government contracts”.

Nick Caton, Chief Commercial Officer at The Key Holding Company commented: “Security is an increasing focus for all public sector organisations; we see this day in day out as we deliver services to Health, Education and Central Government customers. Thanks to the hard work of the TKC team and the support of GCA at events such as Meet the Buyer, we are proud to be awarded a place on the framework as it represents a real acceleration of TKC’s strategy to deliver services to the public sector. I would encourage any SME thinking of bidding for GCA or other public sector frameworks to do so – we are always happy to share our experiences and help if we can.”
